New Amsterdam Theatre Building Broadway DIY Theater Kit

We are beyond excited to continue our theater building kits by introducing the New Amsterdam Theatre! Our BUILDING BROADWAY series allows theatre-lovers to build their own to-scale recreations of the Broadway Theatre District.

Opening on October 26, 1903, the New Amsterdam Theatre was designed by architects Henry B. Herts and Hugh Tallant and quickly earned the nickname "The House Beautiful" for its breathtaking architecture. Over the last 123 years, its stage has been home to the legendary Ziegfeld Follies, Disney's The Lion King, Mary Poppins, and Aladdin. From its dazzling early days to its remarkable restoration in the 1990s, this 42nd Street treasure has survived to become one of Broadway's most beloved historic theaters. And now you can build your very own!

Each kit features easy-to-follow instructions and all the pieces to build each theater including lights to make your theater glow! With an instructional video provided by our Green Team Owner Tim Dolan, we'll walk you through the entire creation step by step, so even if you aren't crafty, you'll still have a perfect creation on your hands when you're finished.

And while paint isn't included in our Building Broadway DIY Theater Kit Series, we provide paint color recommendations and walk you through the process to easily add paint if you're really looking to make your theater model come to life!

**Please note: paint is not included with your kit. This kit contains small parts, so this is not recommended for ages 12 and under.
